1 Corinthians 12

We are reading 1 Corinthians Chapter 12

My favorite part of this chapter is when it talks about spiritual gifts. Verse 4 - 7 says
(4)Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; (5) and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; (6) and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. (7) To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.

These verse means that everyone has their own spiritual gift that God gave them. It says that the same God gives spiritual gifts to everyone. In verse 7 it says "to each is given the manifestation of the Sprit for the common good."  This means that God gives gifts to people so that they can use them to demonstrate God's great love and power. I thought that was very interesting because this means that you have to use the gift God has given you so that you can show how great He is.

I liked:
All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it. (1 Corinthians 12:27 NLT)
Christianity is the only religion where everyone actually matters in it. Most just honor priests and stuff. However, God made us with individual purposes that work together for him sows have to work together to do that. Everyone is important and special to God regardless of their job in Gods body. I don't see why you would want to follows religion where u r worthless. Just remember God loves and has a place for all of us!
