John 21 last chapter

Wow this is the last chapter of John. It is such an amazing chapter, do not miss reading it even though its Sunday. Jesus appears to His disciples for a third time, while they are fishing. He feeds them fish and forgives Peter in a special way for denying Him. There is so much you can learn in this last chapter of John. You guys have done great and we have finished our first book of the Bible. We don't know what book is next but we will decide at church and I will update this afterwards. Read this chapter as soon as you can because God has something for each of us in it.

Wow! This was such an amazing book! What a great way to end it too. Well in chapter 21 my favorite story is the one of Jesus an Peter talking after breakfast. Verse 15, "When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these? He said to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you. He said to him, Feed my lambs." Jesus continues to do this two more times, each time represents a time when Peter had denied Jesus. Then after this Jesus tell him "Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were young, you used to dress yourself and walk wherever you wanted, but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you and carry you where you do not want to go. 19(This he said to show by what kind of death he was to glorify God.) And after saying this he said to him, Follow me." I can't imagine how Peter reacts to this. If I was told this I would freak out, but I think Peter is happy because he knows he next time he can stand of for God and not deny Him.

I also like the last verse, 25, "Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written." Just think out it for a minute. John is saying there was so much more to write about it that if he did, the world could not contain it!

It's amazing how when the the Disciples went to catch fish, they didn't catch one. But Jesus told them next time to throw their net on the right side of the boat, they caught lots of fish. It says it was so much they couldn't cary it in to the boat. It also said there was so much fish that it would of broke the net, but it didn't because Jesus didn't allow it to.

That is really cool how Jesus let Peter know next te he wouldn't debit Him, but would stand and die for Jesus

I really enjoyed reading the book of John. I have learned so much!

Today in my reading I also liked verse 25. The version I was reading said: Jesus also did many other things. If they were all written down, I suppose the whole world could not contain the books that would be written. (NLT)
I liked this verse because it says that Jesus did even more than what is written in the Bible! Jesus did so much that if they would have written it down the world would not of been able to hold the book! It would of been to big! That just shows us what an awesome God he is. He did so much for us, and even though we continue to sin he will always forgive us and work in our lives because he loves us. :)
