John 14
John 14 we are two thirds done with this amazing book of the Bible! John 14 is a great chapter because Jesus is talking the whole time! Church was awesome today, make sure you guys show up at high school and youth 2nite. It is at 6006 Casswell Circle for highschool, and at the Maciver's house for middle school. See you guys there!

Sorry I got that up so late today guys.
Scripture: John 14:2 There are many rooms in my Father's home, and I am going to prepare a place for you. If this were not so, I would tell you plainly.
John 14:15 If you love me, obey my commandments.
I love John 14:2 because It shows that my real home is in heaven and God is already preparing a place for me.
John 14:15 Is stuck in my memory because my parents made me right it 100's of times when I was little and disobeyed. Love is usually thought of as emotions, but in the movie Fireproof it says love is determination to do thoughtful actions towards someone. I think that is right because if we were determined like that we would obey God.
even though this was for yesterday I still want to share what I learned.
Okay so I really liked what verse 1 said: "Don't let your heart be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.
This verse is a really good one t remember before you do something difficult, like taking a test. This verse talks about putting your faith in God and when you do that everything will be okay.
Verse 6 said: Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth and the light, and life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
This verse is talking about how the only way to God is through building our relationship with him. We also must have him in our hearts before we can do anything.
I also liked verse 12: "I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done and even greater works because I am going to be with the father.
This verse means that when we follow God we can accomplish any task. It also means that when we do things to glorify God those things will be easier because God will be helping us.
