Well I am going to say what I learned today on this post, I hope that is okay. :)
I really liked verse 13, which says:
Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. (NLT)
I like this verse because I have finals on Monday-Thursday of next week and I am really stressing out about them. This verse showed me that I should just pray to God and give my stress to him to handle because he will. I also like this verse because it says that when we are happy we should praise God. I know sometimes it is really hard to remember to thank God for the things he does for us. We tend to think of him as a vending machine. We ask him for things and forget to thank him. This verse reminds us that we should be thanking him because it is because of what he did for us that we are alive and the good things are happening to us.
Also I have a prayer request: it's that I do well on my finals and that when I am studying this weekend I can focus, and that I and anyone elts that has finals coming up remembers everything they learned when they go to take the test. Thanks so much! :)
