We are having bible study tonight at 6:30 - 7:30. We will be covering A LOT: Romans 4-16, if you did not read all of this its okay please still come because we will be talking about a lot of good things. :)

Today i read Ruth 1. The story of Ruth and Naomi is one of my favorites.
But Ruth said, " do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go i will go, where you lodge i will lodge. Your people shall be my people and your God my God. Where you die i will die, and there i will be buried. May the Lord do so to me and more also if anything but death parts me from you. ( Ruth 1:16-17 ESV)
I love how faithful Ruth is to Naomi. Naomi is Ruth's mother-in-law and even though Ruth's husband died she wouldn't abandon Naomi. Ruth loved her so much that she said she would never leave Naomi.

I'm not done reading yet, but the youversion verse of the day really stuck out to me.
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. (Deuteronomy 6:5 ESV)
I really want to do this but there's always something in my life that I'm holding on to not willing to let go and give it all to God. God laid out the only commandment we need to follow. And it's the hardest commandment to obey because if we were doing this we would be obeying all the commandments. There used to be one command we couldn't break and now there's one we need to keep
I'm going to do my best to love God with everything and give all my life to Him. .

Today I read 1 Corinthians 13. This chapter is all about how we are all nothing with out love.

There were two verses that really stood out to me. These verse were verse 7 and verse 13.

7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. (NLT)

13 Three things will cast forever- faith, hope and love- and the greatest of these is love. (NLT)

I love these two verses because they really show that love is the answer and that it is the strongest thing in the world. If we don't have love we can't really do anything!(Maybe that why in Fairy Tale's they always say that true LOVES kiss will brake the spell). Another thing is that love will never go away. I think that is really interesting, because of the LOVE that God had for us he sent his son to come and die for us. So because God loves us there will always be love in the world.

Deuteronomy 6 is a good chapter, and verses 4-9 is alking about how God is the only God in the entire universe, and that we must love hm with all our heart, soul, and strength. His commandments must be marked on our hearts, passed ddown through generations, have our actions reflect the commandments in everyday life, and mark our property in it, because it is all God's.

Verses 12-15 says that we must remember God and never follow any other god and if we do, God will destroy us, because he is a jealous God.
