Romans 15

 IT'S NEW YEARS EVE!!!!!

Romans 15 first starts out by talking about how we should not be trying to please our self's, we should try to please God. It says that even Jesus did this, he was always trying to please God he never did anything to make him look good. Then it talks about how we should accepted everyone. It says: Therefore, accept each other just as Christs has accepted you so that God will be given the glory. (Romans 15:7 NLT).  I like this verse because it is how I want to be. I want to accept everyone because God has so why shouldn't I?

My ambition has always been to preach the Good News where the name of Christ has never been heard, rather than where a church has already been started by someone elts. (Romans 15:20 NLT). I really like this verse too because I really hope I could be like that, just tell everyone I could about God.

I like verses 1-3. It says, "we who are strong have obligation to bear with the falllings of the weak and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good to build him up. for Christ didn't please Himself but as it is written The reproaches of those who reproched you tell on me.

In this verse it is saying that you need to be like Jesus. In verse 3 it says for christ did not please Himself. And it mentions that we are not suposed to please ourselves.

Romans 15 mainly talks about not pleasing yourself, but pleasing others so that you may be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. And to bring praise to God, you must accept one another, just as Christ has accepted you.

For Christ did not please himself, but as it is written, "The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me." Romans 15:3

We should not try to please ourselves, but instead we should focus on giving the glory to God.
